I have a problem uploading my Forum profile photo on the website

The most likely reason is because the file size is too large. Follow the instructions below to reduce the image size on a PC or laptop:

1. Open the Microsoft Paint application using

   Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint.

2. Within the Paint application use File > Open to find and open the photo you want to resize.
3. Now select Resize and try entering 50 in both the horizontal and vertical boxes (this makes the image 50% smaller).
4. Then select File > Save As and use the jpg file format to resave the smaller version of your image, (you should change the file name to avoid overriding the existing picture).
5. As long as this new file is less than 10MB you should be able to upload it onto the website.
6. If you find the image is still not less than 10Mb you can start again with the original picture and try a number less than '50' to try and get the image size below 10MB.
